Check collar and shoulders
The collar should sit cleanly when open or fastened, and the shoulder seam should match the intended silhouette. Look for balanced placement rather than tension.
Allow chest movement
Compare pit-to-pit width with a polo you wear comfortably. Leave enough ease to reach forward without pulling the placket open.
Plan the hem
A longer hem supports tucking while a shorter, even hem works untucked. Confirm the product length instead of relying on a generic polo rule.
