Identify your goal
If you want comfortable ease and the product is intentionally relaxed, your usual measured size is the logical starting point. If you want a closer silhouette, compare the next size down rather than guessing.
Check the non-negotiable points
The smaller size must still allow comfortable movement through the chest and shoulders. Also check length: sizing down can shorten the body and sleeves even when width still works.
Use a shirt you already own
Measure a comfortable shirt flat from pit to pit and from high shoulder to hem. Match the measurement method shown in the live guide and compare like with like.
Confirm before checkout
Product variants and charts can change. Review the current product page, choose the live variant and use the checkout information as the final authority.
Common questions
Does relaxed fit run big?
It is designed with extra ease, but that does not automatically mean the sizing is inaccurate. Compare the actual garment chart.
Will sizing down remove the relaxed look?
It can reduce body room and may also alter shoulder and length proportions.
What if I am between sizes?
Compare both sizes with a familiar garment and prioritize the measurement that most affects comfort, usually chest or shoulder width.
