Measure a washed favorite
Use a sweatshirt that has already been washed normally. Lay it flat and record chest, length and sleeve dimensions without stretching ribbing.
Account for the layer below
A tee needs less room than a thermal or shirt. Compare measurements with the base layer you expect to wear most often.
Read the silhouette
Dropped shoulders and wider sleeves create a relaxed look without always requiring a larger size. Use the chart and images together.
