Use the trim as a palette
Echo the collar or cuff color once in footwear, a cap or a small accessory. Avoid matching every piece to the trim.
Choose a clean lower half
Straight denim, plain shorts or simple trousers give the outlined neckline space. Distressed pieces can work when the graphic remains restrained.
Layer without hiding the frame
An open denim or varsity jacket preserves the contrast collar. Check that the outer collar does not compete with the tee trim.
